define success. Stakeholders complete a quick and convenient online questionnaire,
and we use the results to help you build agreement on what's important.
How does the Leadership Skills Benchmark service work?
- Select your group of relevant stakeholders:
Select a group of individuals (we recommend a minimum of 3) who have a good understanding
of what it takes to succeed in a specific leadership position. We refer to these
individuals as Stakeholders or Subject Matter Experts.
- Identify core competencies
Your Stakeholders identify important competencies for a specific leadership
role by completing the Leadership Skills Benchmark Questionnaire (LSBQ).
This convenient online questionnaire takes about 15 minutes to complete.
- Get your results
We’ll compile the information and send you a Stakeholder Report that identifies
- the importance ratings assigned to each competency by each Stakeholder
- the average importance assigned to each competency by all Stakeholders
- the level of agreement among Stakeholders regarding the importance of each competency
- Build agreement
Use your results to identify areas of alignment and misalignment among your group
of experts, and to stimulate discussion and build consensus regarding those competencies
that are important for effective leadership performance.
Once your benchmark is established, select top talent, identify
high potentials, and provide focus and structure for leadership development and
succession planning processes using our leadership tools.
